** UPDATE **
The Team completed the Limestone round in just over 8 hours which smashed the timed record and we also raised over double our target. The team had a great run and were met by supporters from the Park View Team on checkpoints all the way around. Well done team and a big thanks to Dr Gardiner for organising

The recent pandemic has been a difficult time for everyone and unfortunately, this has meant some fundraisers haven’t been able to go ahead.
So the staff at Park View Surgery have decided to take on a 55 mile running relay challenge on countryside running trials around the South Lakes Kent estuary in order to raise money for St Johns Hospice
at 8am on the 11th of July a team of 4 GP’s from Park View Surgery (Dr Hacking, Rylance, Gardiner and Golding) and a key worker for Learning Disability children ( Tom Tipping) who is a friend of the surgery , will set off one the Bay Limestone Round starting at Kents Bank in Grange and finishing at Arnside Pier many hours later
We aim to set a new record time breaking the current relay record of 10hrs 17 minutes held by Dallam Running Club. The team of 5 will be supported by their staff at checkpoints along the way, making it a full Team Park View Challenge
Thank you, from all at Park View
