This information is only available to those involved in your care and you should never be asked for personal medical information by anyone not involved in your care. From 25th May 2018 the law is changing with the addition of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This regulation will have an impact on how we handle your data. NATIONAL DATA OPT-OUT
The National Data Opt-Out was introduced in May 2018 to give patients and the public more control over how their confidential patient information is used for research and planning purposes.
The public can change their national data opt-out choice via www.nhs.uk/your-nhs-data-matters or by calling the NHS Digital Contact Center on 0300 303 5678.
